HOW THE PRE-AUTHORIZATION WORKS AND CARDS ACCEPTED
How does the deposit work?
On the day of departure we take a provisional bank imprint called preauthorization bank (PLBS)
This amount is not debited to your account but is provisioned, i.e. your bank blocks it
PLBS expire after 28 days from the date of initiation. After this period, the provision is automatically released by your bank.
It is therefore advisable to make sure that you have the necessary funds and to anticipate this blocking for 28 days.
Please note that with some neo-banks, the provision appears on the bank statement, but it is indeed a provision (in case of doubt check with your bank and contact us :-)
What does the deposit amount depend on?
The category of vehicle
The level of protection subscribed
Special case of contracts of more than 26 days ?
In this particular case we debit the deposit instead of taking an imprint
After returning the car the refund will be processed within a maximum of 15 days
Which credit cards are accepted?
We accept VISA and MASTERCARD which expire at least 2 months after the planned return date
The credit card must be in the name of the driver or an additional driver registered in the contract
We do not accept AMERICAN EXPRESS, UNION PAY, DINER'S CLUB
We do not accept deferred debit cards
